Omnisci (formerly MapD) is an analytics platform focused on optimizing big data, providing solutions that harness the power of GPU processing and data visualization. This project was done via Berkeley Innovation, UC Berkeley’s premier human-centered design consultancy.
Every so often, the company creates interactive visual analytics demos, based on interesting or pressing issues. Our team was prototyping and creating their newest interactive data visualization, focusing on the blockchain and cryptocurrency, allowing new users to learn about the decentralized finance space. This project began with user research, and ended with a clickable prototype and style guide. I led the user research sprint.
