Aether enables pharmaceutical chemists to optimize drug discovery by combining predictive technology with robotic laboratories, rapidly engineering enzymes and manufacturing complex, novel products. This project was done via Berkeley Innovation, UC Berkeley’s premier human-centered design consultancy.
Our team was tasked with building the user interface and user interactions for their primary web-based software application. This project was encompassed user interviews with actual chemists and enzyme manufacturers, down to prototypes and user testing. I led the user research sprint.
